#8 Peanut Butter Cup Cookies

It doesn't get much nuttier than this! Based upon Ben & Jerry's Peanut Butter Cup Ice Cream, this cookie takes peanut butter cookies to the next level by incorporating everyone's favorite peanut butter cup. You can feel good about these cookies because peanut butter is a source of protein :)

Orange Peanut Butter Bars

This was my first recipe challenge and I must say, it turned out very successful. The bars are moist and flavorful. This is an interesting spin on a classic lemon bar and has surprisingly great flavor profiles in every bite.

Peanut Butter Cookies

An oldie, but a goodie. Classic peanut butter cookies...in fact, the smell of peanut butter and butter mixed together is one of my favorite smells; if I could jar or put that smell into a candle, I WOULD.

Dairy-free, Gluten-free Peanut Butter Cake

It was my co-workers birthday last week and I love to celebrate birthdays; I love baking birthday cakes even more! I know that food allergies are becoming more prevalent in society, so I wanted to show that an allergy restriction doesn't necessarily mean giving up things that you love. Now in this recipe, I add 1/4 cup gluten-free baking mix; this isn't absolutely necessary, I just felt it gave the cake more structure and body.

Stuffed Peanut Butter-Banana French Toast

Here is another simple recipe that looks like it took more effort than actually required. This is a really rich and filling recipe. One slice is enough for a person, along with some fresh fruit and a tall glass of milk. I like this recipe because it a nice twist to classic French toast; I also like that I don't have to wait for this to bake in the oven even though it's so thick. I used baby bananas in this recipe because they were on sale, something I'd never cooked with before and just because they're so darn cute!
