Moist Banana Bread

I love making banana bread because it makes the whole house smell amazing!! I've made several loves of banana bread in my days and this is the closest I've come to the same as my grandmother bakes (maybe it's in her water because mine is baked with love too). This recipe has no added sugar; it relies solely  on the sweetness of ripe bananas, so eat up everyone!

Pane Toscano (Tuscan Bread)

Tuscan bread is simple and is intended to be more a part of something than to stand on it's own. Usually it's topped with a spreads, tapenades, or a variety of meats and cheeses. The bread is bland tasting so that it doesn't interfere with the other flavors of the toppings. This bread is great for those who are on low sodium diet, but Tuscans have baked and loved this saltless bread for centuries and I don't plan on messing with a food with so much history.

Cinnamon Swirl Raisin Bread

I wanted to experiment with a classic cinnamon raisin bread, so I made this bread with a crunch! I topped the bread with a cinnamon sugar mixture so that it caramelized on the top of the bread. This bread will make you WANT to keep the crust on your sandwiches. Another technique I used was instead of using butter to make the

Spaghetti Rolls

Mind boggling isn't it?! This was my stroke of genius idea for leftover spaghetti. I must acknowledge my friends in high school for this idea because we used to stuff dinner rolls with spaghetti hot dish in the cafeteria; I took the idea a step further and stuffed the rolls before I baked them. No need to mop up sauce with bread because it is filled with it...It's the perfect surprise dinner package! It takes a while because you are making your own bread, but well worth the wait, I promise.

Personal Pizzas

Pizza is amazing to begin with, but it is even better when you get your own!!! I have included the recipe for the great crust and the easy pizza sauce, but top it with whatever you would like. I chose to keep mine healthy; The picture below is LOADED with vegetables. I tossed on a bunch of sliced vegetables including: red onion, broccoli, spinach, red bell pepper, green bell pepper, Anaheim pepper, red chili flakes, Parmesan, and slices of garlic cream cheese. Give it a try, it's delicious.

French Bread

My brother-in-law begs me to make this bread. I have made this recipe so many times and it hasn't failed me yet. It is crusty on the outside and has a soft, chewy inside. You are easily able to make just one loaf, or you can break it up to make mini loaves or rolls. You can also (just like any other bread) mix in herbs, spices, or cheese to change the flavor. It is a great bread to dip or toast!

Blueberry-Banana Bread

To describe this bread in one word, YUM! As if banana bread wasn't good enough? Toss in some sweet, summer blueberries to make it even better!! I love it when my grandparent's blueberry bushes grow because I get loaded up with blueberries. Whenever I see a ripening banana, the first thing I think of is "banana bread." Bananas are full of potassium and especially great because if you see that they are getting brown, you can toss the whole banana in the freezer; the peel acts as a natural container even in the freezing temperatures. You can thaw them out easily or just toss them into the blender with some milk for a quick smoothie. This recipe also makes an awesome banana bread, just omit the blueberries.
